All FelixWood timber complies with the European Union Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Regulation (EU FLEGT). We carefully check the certificates of origin of forest plots. All stages of production from the tree to the shipment of the wood are traceable and identifiable. We ensure a continuous audit of all our suppliers according to EU FLEGT. So 100% of our wood is of legal origin.

Ecological processing

Thermally heated wood without chemicals. It is naturally rot-resistant, without any chemicals. Therefore, heat-treated FelixWood wood is neither harmful to the environment nor to health. It is sourced from renewable, recycled and sustainable forests.

This wood is also 30% more fire resistant than regular wood.

Due to its low water absorption, Thermowood wood lasts longer than conventional wood. Low humidity also prevents rotting and fungal growth.

ThermoWood® coating is completely environmentally friendly, with a carbon footprint = 3 kg CO2/m2.
