Fiberdeck® has developed ALUW® – an innovative material based on advanced technology. This innovative composite combines an aluminum profile, copolymer resin, and a co-extrusion layer. ALUW® is specifically designed for various outdoor applications, such as facade cladding, blinds, lattices, fence crossbars, and other types of exterior finishes, and stands out with its unparalleled performance characteristics.
Unique Composite Material
Aluminum (6063T5)
This material has stable and durable properties, from which lightweight, sleek, and sturdy profiles are made. Therefore, aluminum is an ideal structural component. Precise machining ensures quality assembly and a long service life.
Copolymer Resin
This high-adhesion resin effectively bonds the aluminum structure with the co-extrusion layer, ensuring durability and longevity.
Fiberdeck® Co-Extrusion Layer
The outer co-extrusion layer is based on the same technology as Fiberdeck® decking or facades. It is non-porous and low-maintenance, maintaining its aesthetic properties over time, precisely replicating the visual and tactile characteristics of natural exotic wood.
LUXO Facade Cladding Kit
The LUXO facade cladding kit consists of facade cladding slats, supplied with a lacquered aluminum finish cap fixed at one end with screws in the profiles, and an aluminum connecting joint that ensures their connection. The standard length of these slats is 2.9 meters. Pre-assembly saves time during installation.
Installation
LUXO facade blinds made of co-extruded aluminum are easy to install and can be adapted to various mounting solutions and purposes. Pre-installed inserts allow for seamless connections. They are fixed directly to the facade using stainless steel or aluminum brackets, with self-tapping screws in the profiles, which are further reinforced at each connection point with an additional 2.5 mm, in compliance with the regulations. They are mounted to the facade using a bracket or hook and rail system.
